The Moon Boot® was born in the 1970’s following Neil Armstrong’s Apollo 11 Moon landing. The Italian designers at Tecnica, inspired by this event created the iconic snow boot which, from the 1980’s onwards would give name to an entire category of footwear.
The original inspiration for the design of the Moon Boot® completely befits the concept for FW15 IUTER: Sky Is The Limit. The collection features many references to mountains, astronomy and outer space, and so because of this, IUTER and Moon Boot® have come together to create the Moon Boot® “Annapura”.
The Moon Boot® “Annapurna” features the pattern inspired by the Annapurna mountain range as well as some typical IUTER details like tubular laces and the synthetic “Teddybear” inner lining.
Moon Boot® Original “Annapurna” is a limited edition of 25 pieces all produced in Italy by Moon Boot® and sold exclusively at the IUTER Store Milano and the IUTER Online store.
